By incorporating leading-edge manufacturing processes with innovative
mixing technology (utilizing fewer parts). All construction is heavy-duty,
dependable and designed for ease-of-service.
The tough, precision-crafted GR-1600 dual output gear box comes
with 2 5/8" heat treated 4140 shafts and the GR-1600HD with 3 1/4"
heat treated 4140 shafts. A smooth oil bath rear drive enhances
chain life and features grease banks and spring loaded idlers. A
new primary reducer features larger bearings and a wider gear face
to handle higher input horsepower and torque.

Mixes with precision... 
MMI's exclusive counter rotating augers assure precise nutrition
with a uniform and gentle mixing action. The new Baled Alfalfa Hay
Mixing (TMR) process provides scissor-like cuts for a uniform, consistent
particle length. The result is a healthier, quality feed ration
and increased milk production.
State-of-the-art augers with a forged heat-treated, serrated edge,
self sharpening knife, in association with two hay shelves and the
rasper bars, allows a MMI mixer feeder to process long stemmed
baled alfalfa hay like no other.

 A MMI mixer feeder is designed to provide the most uniform
blend of feed commodities possible, from start to finish. Center
Line Mixing produces a level mix, utilizing 100% of the mixing chamber
with no front or back spillage.
The exclusive 42 inch wide discharge system assures full capacity
discharge. The chute and gate are powered by a hydraulic system
with electric hydraulic valves for precise control.
MMI boxes pull easier, which saves energy. The counter rotating
augers decrease horsepower requirements by as much as 45% over competing
mixers, with less wear on the sides and tremendous fuel savings.
